Wollman Rink NYC in Central Park will open for ice skating daily from October 24, 2026 through March 16, 2027.

The rink is located near the southeast corner of Central Park, New York City. The closest entrance is at 59th Street and 6th Avenue.

Admission tickets to the rink and skate rentals may be purchased in advance online or on-site at the box office. Ticket pricing information can be found here.

All children under 16 must be accompanied by a chaperone age 21 or older. One non-skating chaperone is admitted free of charge. Children 3 and under are free. Tickets for special events at Wollman Rink may also be purchased on line.

All patrons whether skating or not are required to sign a waiver to enter to Wollman Rink NYC.

You are welcome to bring your own skates, but you can also rent a pair at the rink for $12. Skate rentals are available to add on at the same time as your ticket purchase online or on-site at the rink.

Yes, skates are available to rent for $12.00. All prices include tax. Skate rentals are available to add on at the same time as your ticket purchase online or on-site at the rink.  The smallest skate size offered is a toddler’s 8. The largest size skate offered is a men’s 14.  Guests are welcome to bring their own skates.

We offer skate aids for a fee $25 for young people that need an object to lean on to learn how to skate. They are a per person rental only offered to children 12 and younger and under 4 feet tall.

Safety is always our top priority. If an event date is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, we will gladly accommodate you into another day when public skating is being offered.

Should Wollman Rink NYC need to close due to unsafe weather conditions, the information will be posted on our homepage and on our social media at @wollmanrinknyc.

From small parties to entire rink buyouts, Wollman Rink NYC is an incredible venue for private events during the ice season or warmer months. Let us know more about your event here.

The Premier Pass will provide guests access to the heated rink side tent, a semi-private space with limited capacity.  We also offer rink side Igloos as another option for a private event experience.

Yes. The Café onsite offers a wide selection of delicious food and drink including warm fresh food, grab-n-go items, vegan options, a coffee bar and favorites for kids. Alcohol may be available for purchase during select special events.

Outside food and beverage is not allowed at Wollman Rink NYC.

Strollers are permitted.  We are not responsible lost or stolen items.

Wollman Rink NYC strongly discourages guests from bringing unnecessary bags and backpacks into the venue. No bags will be permitted on the ice. Oversize bags and luggage will not be permitted at any time. All bags will be subject to search, which may delay your entry. Wollman Rink NYC is not responsible for unattended bags. Lockers are available for rent in the clubhouse.

There are NO pets permitted at Wollman Rink NYC. ONLY trained and licensed service or guide animals are permitted at Wollman Rink NYC. They are not allowed on the rink and must be attended.

As you enjoy our shared public space, please follow these simple guidelines for the safety of all our visitors. Visitors in possession of Prohibited Items may be refused entry or ejected from the facility.

Illegal items will be confiscated and turned over to the police. The following items are not permitted at Wollman Rink NYC. Please be courteous and respectful of others:

• Aerosol Cans
• Animals / Pets (except service animals)
• Balloons and Beach Balls
• Cans, Bottles, Glass, or Other Beverage Containers
• Chains, Studded Bracelets, etc.
• Coolers or Ice Chests
• Hard sided bags of any size
• Illegal Drugs
• Laser Pens and Pointers
• Noisemaking Devices (i.e. Whistles, Air Horns, Drums, Horns, Vuvuzelas)
• Outside Food and Beverage
• Selfie Sticks and GoPros large camera lenses, tripods or monopods
• Poles to Display Banners, Flags, etc.
• Signs with wires, lights, and/or batteries
• Skateboards
• Un-approved Pamphlets, Handouts, Advertisements, etc.
• Weapons (i.e. Knives, Pepper Spray, Tear Gas, Handcuffs, Stun Guns, etc.)
• Any Other Item Deemed to be Inappropriate / Dangerous by Management
• Smoking devices, including Electronic Cigarettes

Wollman Rink NYC follows city, state and federal safety guidelines for public gathering as well as all Central Park rules. Visit their website for the complete list of city-wide rules and regulations.

Any Prohibited Items which are surrendered as a condition of entry to the facility shall be deemed to be surrendered irrevocably and voluntarily. Any such items will be unable to be reclaimed and shall be disposed of by Wollman Rink NYC without any liability.
